Rabbit Hole Day
Woke up this morning to discover that apparently my engineer housemates have been working on non-approved projects in their spare time. A nanotech-powered robot mouse was crawling around my room, which I realized when I almost stepped on it.
Instead of squeaking, it beeps.
I kidnapped it and have been teaching it to imitate the various ring patterns in my cell phone's memory. I have hopes of moving on to actual modulated sounds next, via songs, and eventually reaching true conversation.
I think I'll name it Gidget. Unless, of course, it objects. :-)
