I got internet access at home. This did me in. *sigh* I am still reading about the same amount of words -- it's just that the proportion of fanfiction (and random linked articles) to books has gone way up.

Also, I got into the habit of reading magazines on my lunch breaks and during slow night shifts rather than bringing books from home. I blame the financial crisis, the presidential primaries, and the general election, and am slowly shifting back out of that pattern.
