Susan is coming up to visit!

Well, okay, really she and her family are coming up to visit Anne (her sister), who's taking a summer course in Nepali, but Susan's going to do dinner with me on Saturday, and possibly stay the night.

And my parents are coming up to visit too!

*does the happy dance of PEOPLE-LOVE-ME!!!*

Don't expect any writing this weekend. I shall be far too busy acting like a normal, sociable human being. And buying carpets. :-)

Have a good time. I'm pretty much fic'd out these days, though I'm supposed to write something (probably short) for a Trio challenge. Cauldron? What's all this about cauldrons? :)

Oh, my writing's going really well lately (can't say the same about my editing, though), but there are times and places for sitting in front of a computer and being completely antisocial... and family visits are not those times.

*casts longing glances at her temporarily abandoned stories, then firmly shuts the door*
