For now, I am just leaving my poor laptop on infinite screensaver mode (I had to disable sleep ages ago, because of the glitch) and cover it with a cloth at night to stop the lightshow. Once things settle down a bit more at work so I have some time to think, I will try to find a drop-off slot at the Ithaca Best Buy, where I will remember to TELL THEM about the sleep glitch and stress that the bluescreen only happens within 5 to 15 minutes of starting/restarting the computer, so leaving it running is not going to help you find the problem. *sigh*

Yet another reason to disdain scrub maples, as if I needed more. *makes rude gestures in their general direction*
