Does the problem happen with a full shutdown/reboot as well, no sleep or hibernate, just complete shut off? My old laptop used to do that. I never figured out what caused it, though it might have been a bad hard drive, and the problem just randomly went away when I dual-booted with a different OS. (I hadn't even reinstalled Windows 10 - just added another one - and poof! It still puzzles me to this day.)
