weekend plans

My parents are driving up to visit tonight. We're planning to try for dinner at Just a Taste, a local wine and tapas place, but since it doesn't take reservations, we may not get a table. In that case, we will simply walk down Restaurant Row and try the next place. :-) (I love the concentration of restaurants around the Commons.)

Tomorrow we will do Stuff. Which will probably include, in no particular order, a stop at the Friends of the Library book sale, some laundry, and maybe a vineyard or two. Possibly also church, and almost certainly breakfast out at some other restaurant, which I will not have to pay for, so yay!

In the meantime, I must get back to work. *sekritly plots to get everything done early and leave by 5:15pm at the latest*

Ooh, ooh, the Friends of the LIbrary book sale! I bought so many amazing books there. I used to especially love the last day, when everything was a dime. And the next year, of course, I'd recycle anything I didn't want anymore back to the sale. The libraries here have them, but I've never been--not enough room for random finds anymore.

Where do they hold it now? It used to be in the old Calendar Clock factory next to Clever Hans Bakery, which made it extra-awesome.

These days they have the sale in a warehouse on Esty St., between Meadow and Fulton. This is the second of three weekends in the fall sale. The spring one will come in May, I think.

I bought 7 books, which was bad of me, but I couldn't help myself!
