And I figure that in the Buffyverse, anyone who staffs a blood bank with night access of any sort must either learn to believe in vampires really damn fast or die even faster. And that sort of jolt to a person's worldview is the kind of thing that makes people quit jobs (in addition, you know, lots of dead coworkers).
