There is something very freeing about dreaming up crazy story ideas when you know you won't have to go through the hard work of making the plot and character arcs actually hang together. *grin* I would love to see somebody else write a bunch of these (or to adapt the Joisan-and-Izanami idea as an original fantasy story), but I somehow doubt that will happen.
