I think you'll like Code Geass, if you haven't seen it before. The whole situation (All hail Britannia vs Japan) made for an interesting series. It reminded me a bit of the Gundam Seed series with all the machinery involved. Lelouch, Kallen, Suzuku... they all have their own demons to battle, and they go about figuring where/who they should be differently. :-)
