Thanks! It's fun what you can learn about a character by describing bits of his or her home. I knew Takeshi was absent-minded and didn't care much about food, but I hadn't realized he was such a disorganized slob. (Also, I didn't know he kept plants, but I now know he has a whole menagerie of spider plants, which he gives names and to which he apologizes periodically for forgetting to water them regularly or give them plant food more than every three or four months. *pets him*)
