work, colds, printer ink, and writing
Long day at work, and I may be coming down with a cold -- my nose was running heavily early this afternoon, my right ear clogged up, and the symptoms responded to NyQuil, which makes me think 'cold' rather than 'allergies.' (The allergies are undoubtedly still present in the background, though they have been remarkably mild this year so far. Perhaps my insanity-inducing two-month struggle with itchy, semi-inflamed skin last year was a last flare-up before my sensitivity returned to the lower levels of my teen years?)
My printer ran out of colored ink Saturday night, and my new ink cartridge arrived today. I ordered a black ink cartridge as well, since I have been having problems printing documents for a while and I think my current black ink cartridge may be a dud. I will replace them tomorrow. If all goes well, I should finally be able to print ch. 14 of "Secrets" and attack it with the Editing Pen of Death. (One change I already know must be made: the end of the chapter will need major rewriting to bring up the drama level, since it was conceived as a middle-of-chapter scene, but that's an easy enough fix. Mostly I just need to mention Daphne a couple times and watch Ginny seethe. *grin*)

I lead such a boring life. *wry*
