I made a firm promise to myself many years ago that I would never move anywhere south of Philadelphia -- I'd concluded that New Jersey summers were godawful enough, and there was no way anyone could get me to go anyplace hotter and more humid without paying me several million dollars.

I am not fond of winter either, but it's easy to put on another layer of clothing and extra blankets on the bed. There are only so many layers I can take off. *makes face*
