Alas, I don't think I can show the actual arrival in San Francisco and the strategy meeting, because the arrival takes place on... *checks outline* Wednesday night, the day before Arthur and Dom arrive in St. Louis and meet Ariadne. And the strategy meeting happens at the same time as all the Ariadne-and-Arthur stuff in chapter 1 -- I'd have to jump back in time to write it, instead of going from Arthur's text to Eames receiving Arthur's text, which is a much clearer narrative transition. :-(

There ought to be a way to work some of it in during Eames's conversation with Sally and his later conversation with Robert, though. That would indeed build more ongoing tension. :-)
