Have you read [personal profile] cofax7's Carpetbaggers? It's a wonderful story about the practicalities of the Pevensies early rule in Narnia, and how they made a place for themselves among their new subjects. (I had fun with that list of chores, because obviously they're all things that needed doing around Arsheesh's house and therefore obviously Shasta did them. Repeatedly.)

Oh, yes, of course the wind, the temperature, and the light would be relevant. *makes note to insert them* Hmm. Possibly I could add a short sentence about unfamiliar clothes, too...
