Archetypes are cool. :-) Mostly I was thinking about Will and Bran, and how so often they get written into very sad stories, with Will withdrawing or Bran not caring without his memories, and I wanted to write about the whole group of them staying friends. It seemed to me that Will was the logical one to hold them together, and the rest just flowed from there.
