Nah, I brought the puppet in because explodingfrogs suggested a reprise of the raptormom-acquires-an-inappropriate-chewtoy gag, but once I had the thing available as a prop, OBVIOUSLY it had to hit Dave in the face. That was pure dramatic necessity. :-)
