I have never really gardened before -- I keep a bunch of houseplants, but that's it. So watching the peppers grow from tiny seedlings to mature plants, bloom, and then produce honest-to-god vegetables that I could then eat has been really amazing. :-)

I kind of want to buy a big, shallow trough and try growing zucchini too next year...
