Poor Edmund, he's clearly not on the winning end of this idea. That said, it's not a bad idea but he should really listen to Tumnus' advice on the matter since a Narnian would know best about how best to efficiently spread news across the country.

Perhaps Edmund will come up with a better idea if he looks around and see how other countries have dealt with communication issues.
