It might! I am pretty sure there are "green" gardening supply stores around town -- this is Ithaca, after all. But for the moment the Ortho stuff seems to be working, and I'm not going to complain about the reduction in general squirrel scrabbling noises on my porch. (They are hella noisy, you know.) But it would be mean to spray the mulberry tree earlier in the season, when it's blooming or fruiting, so next year I will look into less chemically noxious alternatives. :-)
