Thanks! I really like the form because it gives me a chance to play in various fandoms I would probably never otherwise touch. For instance, that Galadriel ficlet, written at full length, would terrify me with the amount of canon research I would need to do -- historical, geographical, logistical, interpersonal, etc. -- but with only three sentences, I get to leave all that implicit in the background and instead go straight for the gut-punch. :-)
