"Guardian" progress update

FYI, the revised version of ch. 5 of "The Guardian in Spite of Herself" is now up on AO3, because I have settled in to my new job and the NFE is over, and I can therefore devote brain space to working on ch. 16 again. The fight scene is finally finished and now it's on to trading caravan hijinks. :-)
