It's so difficult when you have a platonic ideal of an object. (Heh. I love that way of putting it, despite never having been much for Plato; I mean, never being much for philosophers in general, I tend to get my philosophy through fiction.) The weirdest and most frustrating case was when both me and my sister agreed on the way we thought a certain chateau in the Czech Republic looked - only to find out it didn't and be absolutely unable to place where we got the identical idea from. One can at least, presumably, make earrings or have them made according to one's ideal, but a chateau... :D
An apple harvest festival sounds great. Does it include local cooks competing with apple pies and other stuff one reads about?
