exercising my civic responsibility
I am off to vote in the New Jersey primary. It's largely a pointless exercise -- there's no competition for the local spots, and Kerry is a shoo-in for the Presidential candidate at this point -- but one does what one ought to do.
Actually, I'm going to vote for Kucinich instead of Kerry. See, my mom voted for Kerry, but decided afterward that she'd rather have voted for Kucinich just as a protest or something. And I want to vote for Kerry because I think Kucinich, while nice, is a bit of a nut. So we're going to pretend that her vote is mine and my vote is hers.
Hey, it works out. :-)
