in shock (re: "Secrets")

Oh. My. God.

Secrets just got niffled (ie, recced) at FictionAlley.

I think I'm in shock.

This is the story that I've been working on for 4 years now, that I've poured my heart into with very, very little attention or feedback, that I'd resigned myself to having be ignored and unloved, and it got niffled.

Um.

I think I'll go lie down now. After I finish submitting chapter 10 to FA, that is, which I'd been putting off because their new submission system is weird and irritating. I practically never visit FA these days anyway, because I've mostly stopped reading HP fic that isn't written by lj friends or specifically recced by people or sites I trust. I think, perhaps, I shall drop by a bit more often for a while.

Niffled. "Secrets" got niffled. Wow.

I know! I got to the part where s/he was saying something about Ginny sometimes being unlikeable, but still understandable, and I was like, "Oh my god, you get it!"
