Mom and I went to Windsor Gifts earlier this afternoon to buy Anne's wedding present -- one place setting of fine china. Which cost over $100. Yeesh. Someone else will have to fill in the other place settings.

Also, I have given up on trying to fit back into my pink dress in time for the wedding... it's two weeks from today and I don't think I can lose 15 pounds that fast. *sigh* So I'm going to wear my looser purple one, and vow not to get so lazy in the future!

I'm glad you realize you can't really lose 15 pounds in two weeks. *sigh indeed* And $100 per place setting is pretty pricey. I'm glad Kelly, my niece, didn't ask for China. She was registered at Pier 1 and at Club Wedd at Target. We gave her an electric wok, which she raved about when she opened the gifts.

We basically had a choice between the china setting or filling in some pieces of her grandmother's silverware set... and $80 for a tablespoon seemed even more excessive than the china!

Yeah, I know. *sigh* Damnit, I used to have a stable weight. Then I wasn't working last year, and somehow I managed to gain 15 pounds. This is NOT happening again.
