Sting

Sting concert tonight! *dances*

Um, and yesterday we got the backsplash tiles installed in the kitchen, and today people came in to start finishing the hardwood floor. This kitchen is going to be so cool when it's done!

My friend Cat, the Apostle of Sting, introduced me to his music in the mid 90s when we were in junior school. Wah. Am Too Young! ;-)

The concert, incidentally, was great! His guitarist, Dominic Miller, did the opening. Then it was Annie Lennox -- who's actually very good live -- an intermission, and Sting! And besides the occasionally annoying/inappropriate video montages they had on screen behind him (like, oh, say, strippers during "Sacred Love"), it was great. Great great great!

I think I'm repeating myself, and will now stumble off to bed.

I'd almost forgotten you got to see Annie Lennox too. She used to be a pretty big star in her own right with Eurythmics, but I guess now she opens for bigger stars like Sting. <3 Annie Lennox. But strippers behind Sacred Love? That doesn't sound very...sacred ;) I'm glad you had a great time.
