bored, bored, bored

Killing time in Detroit airport until my flight to Ithaca in an hour. Have already waited nearly two and a half hours, eaten dinner, and read another 1/10 of Anna Karenina. Only so much of that book I can read at a time -- just too depressing/frustrating.

I want to be HOME already...

the travel gods are frowning upon me

Flight diverted to Elmira because of heavy fog in Ithaca. Theoretically we are getting vouchers for a bus up to Ithaca's airport, from which I can get a taxi home... very, very late. :-/

ETA, 1:00am -- Home safe! Delta did indeed arrange a bus, and I was the first of four passengers sharing a taxi to be dropped off, since I live very close to Rt. 13 and everyone else was going to hotels farther from the highway. Now I am going to unpack a bit and go to bed, because this has been a LONG DAY.
