the state of the Gigi

Dog has been taken to vet. Dog has been irrigated. (Okay, technically speaking, dog has received an injection of a saline solution, but the other amuses me more.) Dog is now snoozing upstairs, after giving me wounded looks.

It's kind of funny. I would have done this for free -- in my heart, Gigi is still my dog -- but my parents are being extraordinarily nice and are actually paying me for dogsitting. Which is still cheaper than boarding her would have been. (Also, I make their house safer, and they didn't have to stop the newspapers or the mail. So yay me.)

Hey, about Undertow and Leaves... I suppose you should let them separate from each other. The wisest thing to do when a story wants to write itself is letting it write itself (thought you might want to let it get ready first - Undertow seems a bit shy to me...)


...Besides, the more you write, the happier we, fans, will be ;)
