Bush was not a completely unmitigated disaster -- he had sensible views about immigration, for example, unlike a lot of his party -- but yeah, I'd rate him at D to D-. *sigh* The really sad part is that I think even without 9/11, he'd probably only have been a C- at best, because of all his other problems (business, environment, overreach of executive powers, etcetera).

Bah. He's gone; I refuse to dwell on him anymore. Now we have someone to be FOR instead of just someone to be AGAINST. I like my newfound cautious optimism. :-)
