So here I am, practically broke from making my last rent payment for my current apartment (we go on a pay 3 months at one shot sort of deal, and I now have residency free and clear through June), and I find out I may be unemployed again as of Friday.

The Board of Education can go ********* themselves.

Stupid funding issues.

I'm so sorry. That's horrible. Is there still a chance the funding may come through?

Possibly. See, the Board is worried about budgets (we're starting to plan next year's budget, which means spreadsheets... *groan*) and they think I cost too much money. Which is silly, since I'm actually here and doing work, unlike, say, our director, who's been out for two months with no explanations and whom I've never even met! Why they're still paying HIM, I have no clue.

Anyway, my supervisor is trying to squeeze money out of the Board, but it's really up to them.
