wherein Liz babbles about her progress on "Secrets"
So. Scene 4 of chapter 9 of "Secrets" (wow, too many prepositions... *gets dizzy*) is begun to the tune of 400 words. And a very confused Ginny. Who has started to finally notice the holes in Tom's explanations of events.
*rubs hands evilly*
Oh, I love my story! Love love love love love!
It's funny, though, that this scene will probably end up shorter than I imagined, while other scenes have grown on me. I think I misled myself because I outlined this one a bit more thoroughly -- it's important for me to be precise with my details -- so it looked longer when I skimmed through my rough chapter sketches.
Hmm. And in other news, I did get around (finally!) to bringing the ff.net version of "Secrets" up to date. It may, in fact, be more up to date than the Schnoogle version, since I'm not sure FA ever did anything with my resubmitted versions of chapters 4-6. So those may still have "Virginia" instead of "Ginevra," and some typos and stuff that I fixed later on.
I'd go check that, but I am feeling too lazy.

I didn't get the italics problem fixed until I resubmitted chapters 1-3 in one fell swoop, to correct that, swap Ginny's names, and add a scene in chapter 3. Those corrections went up.
Chapters 4-6 only have a few cosmetic changes -- phrasing of some lines, and so on -- so I'm not terribly upset that the old versions are still up. It will just be a bit weird for a reader, to switch from reading "Ginevra" to reading "Virginia" and then back to "Ginevra" again in chapter 7. *shrug*
