Popping in briefly to say that while I did not get a white Christmas, I have received a white birthday (which is statistically more likely, because February, but psssh) and I am only regretful that I do not also get sun to brighten my snow. :)

Thank you! I was at work for most of yesterday, actually, but money is warm in its own way. ;) And my parents are visiting this weekend, so I will do the partying then. :D

Snow (but not so much that it made life uncomfortable) sounds like a pretty good birthday present! :)

The valley got about half an inch, the hills maybe one to one-and-a-half inches, and none of it stuck to the roads so yeah, pretty with minimal inconvenience. :)

Thank you! (I was actually at work on my birthday, and then the next day I got a cold, but I have had a lovely weekend -- family visit, fancy restaurant dinner, chamber music concert -- so I think it balances out. *grin*)
