My peppers, photographed on Monday, 5/16/16.

As you can see, they are all growing well! Even the one that had the worst dehydration scare has recovered and is finally growing its first pair of actual leaves. (They didn't show up terribly well in the photographs, but the seedling in question is the only one in the second column from the left.)

I'm a little worried about hydration when I go to NJ next weekend, since I will be leaving on Friday and not returning until Monday afternoon. Perhaps I should just take the whole tray with me...?

Possibly! I'd have to pry the peat cylinders up first, though, since they're wedged into their little squares. And I kind of want to show the peppers off to my parents and aunt, so... I think they are going to become well-traveled seedlings. It's a little silly, but hey, what is the point of being an adult if I can't choose to be silly now and then? :)

Do you have a plastic cover for the tray? Or maybe pulling a plastic bag over it to catch moisture?

I do have a cover, but that seems (based on past weeks' evidence) to lead to mold, which is not desirable. The towel is doable, but I'd have to pry each peat puck out of its square hole first. Plus I want to show off my baby seedlings to my family, so I think they will become very well-traveled plants!
