stuff done: Tuesday-Saturday
1. Finished my NYS tax training and renewed my NYTPRIN for 2017. Yay!
2. Bought and wrapped Mom's Xmas present.
3. Bought and wrapped Dad's Xmas present. (I also bought and wrapped a belated birthday gift for him, which Vicky and I are going halves on, since both of us forgot to get him an actual present in September. We are both pretty good about remembering Mom's birthday -- it helps that it's so close to Christmas -- but I have a much spottier track record with Dad. We may get another small item to add as a supplement.)
4. Bought Susan's Xmas present online and am having it delivered to my parents' house. There is no sense in me lugging it down to NJ via bus, and also the company couldn't guarantee delivery before my departure date.
5. Bought groceries.
6. Got a stop-mail form from the post office and filled it out. I will pin it to my mailbox on Tuesday or Wednesday.
7. Agreed to bring in Upstairs Neighbors E and T's mail until I leave for NJ, and duly brought in two days' worth so far. I also picked up a plate of cookies they'd left for Diagonal Neighbors... I forget their names, maybe A and L? but it turned out that A and L had already left for the holidays so I effectively received two plates of cookies. I am not complaining!
8. Paid my credit card bills.
9. Covered Miss Cactus's Friday shift at the rental office. It is a slow period right now, since most of the tenants have left for winter break. However, there are still surprises! For example, on Friday we received a very fancy Danish pastry from one of the companies that does business with us; that was nice. (It was also delicious. *grin*)
10. Called my barber shop to make sure my hair guy would be in on Saturday morning. He was, so I got up a little earlier than usual this morning and reached the shop shortly after 9am, since that was my last chance to get a haircut until January. (Scheduling conflicts, you know?)
11. Watered my houseplants.
12. Finished and posted my Yuletide fic. \o/
