money doesn't solve all problems, but it can sometimes keep new ones from spontaneously appearing

So work has been wild because -- thanks to Cornell starting their fall semester roughly a week later than their usual schedule (no really, thanks a million, Cornell) -- we are trying to compress what's usually a three-and-a-half-week turnaround between "get the majority of new tenants into their apartments" and "open for next year's rentals" into only a hair over two weeks, and this is, as one can imagine, somewhat stressful.

Also I got my period tonight, so that's just ducky.

On the bright side, Aunt Boss finally got around to calculating summer commissions, plus I got my end-of-summer bonus, so my latest paycheck was like three times the size of the usual amount, which means at least I'm stressed and financially solvent rather than stressed and having cash-flow issues.

...

Okay, bed now.
