wherein Liz has cavities. again. :-(

I had a dentist appointment today. It had been a year since I started going to this particular dentist, and because I hadn't seen a dentist for about three years before that, and also because I had to have several small cavities filled this past year, they took dental X-rays to see if anything new had gone wrong.

I have another cavity.

It is small, so I am not getting it filled until August, but still. I have been given a tube of prescription-strength fluoride toothpaste stuff and ordered to use it every night, and also told to lay off the Coca-Cola, no seriously, stop drinking it, don't you know it turns to acid and EATS YOUR TEETH???

So I will be drinking a lot more tea at work, I guess. Damn it, I like Coke.

...

But I like having teeth more. *sigh*

---------------

In other news, I am well over the minimum word count for my remix. Alas, this does not mean I am anything even vaguely approximating done -- I am still in the introductory section of the story. Why do I do this to myself? WHY?

*flees to read manga instead*

hihihi, I have never gone to dentist eventhough I have toothache.
I hate coke, hoho.
Two teeth has gone bye bye...

Perhaps, if it's the sugar, you could try switching to Diet or Coke Zero? Very fond of the latter, myself...

...or perhaps it's just that I've got indestructible teeth, 'cause, um, I've never had a cavity.

Ah, that'd make a difference.

I've been drinking Coke Zero - which you can't find everywhere, the stuff with the black label - for a few years now. I've found it to actually have less aftertaste than regular Coke, which feels kind of... gritty, or, yeah, metallic, to me now. It's not quite as incredibly sweet, but it's not all chemical-y like Diet Coke, either.

So when I was little, I tried the tooth in a glass of soda experiment. After it disappeared in a /week/, I decided that soda was really not my thing.

...it's scary D:
