Star Island, Day One

I am in Minnesota! \o/

All three of my flights went smoothly and I arrived in Bemidji around 12:30pm. This of course meant that by 3:00pm, I'd been up for twelve hours straight, barring a couple semi-successful attempts to doze on the second and third flights -- and so one of the first things I did once my parents and I finished shopping and arrived on the island was take a nap. Shortly I will go sweep the steps down to the dock, which are coated with bugs that died in the endless rain of the past two days. Later there will be chicken for dinner, and I think I agreed to walk my parents' dog this evening.

And that is pretty much that. Hopefully I will get a good night's sleep and tomorrow I will be up for more interesting projects. :-)

Completely untroubled flights are always worth mentioning! (Because they are, alas, rarer than I would appreciate.) Today has been both pleasant and productive, and I expect things to continue in that pattern.
