====>Stop wasting time
That's an excellent idea! However, you will need to be more specific. We haven't yet identified our POV character for this chapter. Who would you like to be?
---------------
---------------
---------------
Next section... well, who knows, really?
I officially don't care whose head the action jumps to right now, since I think the only way to effectively manage the climax action is to repeatedly switch POV characters. We'll obviously have to hit Vriska, Aradia, and Davven at least once each, but aside from that, feel free to give me some guidance. I would prefer to write the parts readers want to see, after all. *wry*

====>Stop wasting time
That's an excellent idea! However, you will need to be more specific. We haven't yet identified our POV character for this chapter. Who would you like to be?

Next section... well, who knows, really?
I officially don't care whose head the action jumps to right now, since I think the only way to effectively manage the climax action is to repeatedly switch POV characters. We'll obviously have to hit Vriska, Aradia, and Davven at least once each, but aside from that, feel free to give me some guidance. I would prefer to write the parts readers want to see, after all. *wry*

So yeah, I wrote a thing. Yay?

She's so IC! I WANT TO SLAP HER SO BAD AAAAAAAAAAA.
umm umm ummmmm DAVVEN.

I'm really glad Vriska felt IC to you -- she has been maddeningly difficult to write in this story, trying to walk the line of making her understandable (maybe even sympathetic in places) without downplaying her awfulness, her screwy mindset, or the terrible things she does.
Okay, Davven first. I can do that. Do you want to drop in on him while he's still talking to Terezi, or after he wraps that up and is starting to do stuff? (Also, do you want to read the conversation he will presumably have with Kanaya?)
no subject
Actually no it couldn't, because the narrative demands Vriska attempt Aradia's murder, but as far as the characters themselves are concerned...
And you did an excellent job of creating the illusion (or demonstrating the fact, from a less meta and more in-story perspective) that it could actually have gone better, if people hadn't kept jumping in to say exactly the wrong thing at exactly the wrong moment, derailing the conversation before anyone managed to get around to actually saying anything meaningful. Instead it ended up being a bunch of jabs at things that she already feels guilty about but is choosing to ignore, and therefore completely useless at convincing her of anything except that she's right to think that everyone is conspiring against her.
...I can't help but wonder if what Vriska let slip about her experience of the haunting will prove to be significant later. Would a normal haunting involve perceiving the emotions of the ghosts? If not, is Alonde likely to pick up on this at some point, and draw the logical conclusions (either Aradia did something really weird with the ghosts, or Vriska is an empath)? What is she likely to do with this information?
As far as who gets to be the next POV character, I'm torn. On the one hand, Davven seems like the most natural choice, as the only one involved in the plan who hasn't been heard from since it started to go down. On the other hand, Equius is one of the few characters we haven't even seen yet, much less from his own POV. ...Maybe a brief glimpse of his POV, before switching to Davven, kind of like what you did with Nepeta early on? (Maybe he's in the middle of an argument with Nepeta, of the "Yes!" "No." "Yes!" "No." "Yes!" "No." variety, and the narrator decides that it's not going to end soon enough to be worth being him.)
no subject
I have no idea what may or may not come of Vriska's little "oh by the way, I'm an empath not just a mind-controller" moment. *files away your thoughts for future reference*
Hmm. Equius would make a good joke scene, but I am trying to hash out relative timelines and I'm not sure it would make sense to be him before we see Davven doing... no, wait, better idea. *evil grin* Okay, I know what I'm doing now.
