recovery is a long, slow process

I went to the grocery store again, because yesterday I was physically unable to carry everything I wanted to buy. Today I am much less exhausted, which is a blessing. Also, sometime around 8am this morning, it stopped hurting to sleep. You have no idea how grateful I am for that. On the down side, I have been afflicted with sporadic coughing fits that steal my voice, make tears well up in my eyes, and will not cease until I have hacked up disgusting clots of greenish-yellow phlegm from my lungs. (Have I mentioned that I hate chest congestion? Because I really, really do.)

Laundry has been washed and dried. It has not, however, been folded, and I am going to leave that for tomorrow. Yes, I am lazy. I think, at least at the moment, I am entitled.

Now I am off to do a little reading and then watch some tv online.
