NaNo Word Count:

11/12 -- 50 words (50 on "Lemonade")

11/13 -- 1,275 words (175 on "#30 - Touch," 1,100 on "#14 - Forbidden")

11/14 -- 100 words (25 on "Lemonade," 75 on "#30 - Touch")

11/15 -- 150 words (150 on "#14 - Forbidden")

11/16 -- 1,125 words (1,125 on "Lemonade")

Current Total = 12,650 words

(Technically, I've already written 650 words today -- of which the 100 written for "The Transient and the Eternal: Hugs" suck ass and will most likely be deleted when I figure out how to address that theme better -- so my actual word count stands at 13,300, but I may write more tonight so I'm not posting today's statistic breakdown yet.)

---------------------------------------------

Chapter 9 of "Lemonade" is already at 1,400 words. I don't think I've written successive chapters this quickly since... well, since the first couple weeks I was working on "Apartment Manager," actually. I don't usually write very fast.

But I think I'd been dragging my feet on "Lemonade" because the three of them have to have sex -- the point of writing the story was to throw Sasuke into a threesome with Faith and Duo -- and I couldn't quite figure out how to make that happen... and now chapter 8 has given me an emotional crowbar to work with. So I am happy about that.

I also realized that I've been avoiding "Guardian," and I'm not sure why. Plot thread overload, maybe -- I have to stare suspiciously at my outline and make sure I actually need all the scenes I think I have to write. But before that, I really have to sit down and finish "Beauty," so as to have it DONE BY THANSKGIVING, OMG, NO TIME, SAVE ME!

Ahem.

And I've already lost time today by covering half of GS's shift, since he mysteriously failed to turn up at the store, didn't call, and couldn't be reached by phone all day. I made $10 in tips off a lottery player, which was nice, and it's always good to have larger paychecks, but ARGH. I wanted to stay home and WRITE.
