Today is my birthday; I am 26 years old.

Also, today my parents and I went skiing. Skiing is FUN!

Of course, I hadn't skied in about 7-8 years, so I was quite wobbly at first, but I got in a few good runs before lunch, and then two more after. I was getting tired (I'd fallen once on the last run), so I went inside to have hot chocolate while my mom attempted a slightly harder run (my dad had already gone off on his own to explore the black diamond runs). And then.

Yes, and THEN.

The wind rose. The clouds rolled in. The snow began to fall. Within ten minutes it was a total whiteout.

The wind was forecast to stay at 20+ mph all afternoon and evening, so once we had all gathered inside, we decided to call it a day.

Definitely a lot of fun, though. :-)
