A few things:

1. I am ill, with a mild to moderate cold. Boo hiss.

2. My mom is visiting me. Tomorrow we're going to eat breakfast at Friendly's and then drive to the Corning Museum of Glass. Yay!

3. Tonight, we had dinner at Willow, a very nice restaurant in my neighborhood. Yay!

4. It is raining. Boo hiss.

5. I may buy a new teakettle tomorrow, as my current one (bought at a garage sale several years ago) is quite battered and also is starting to rust on the inside. *equivocating gesture*

6. And now I am off to bed. Yay!
