Today I:

-confirmed my doctor's appointment on Thursday morning

-called the prospective therapist and discovered that their number is out of service :( well, at least now I know that and can stop having low-key dread about the phone call?

-unboxed the magnetic poetry set I bought at my church's garage sale this August and stuck all the words onto the side of my fridge, in the process separating pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions, and a few other key parts of speech from the general muddle. I will attempt actual poetry some other day

-checked out a copy of Ancillary Justice from my library, but forgot to ask how to go about borrowing ebooks and finding them via my Kindle *sigh* maybe on Friday

-cleared some papers off my living room table and either recycled or filed them

-bought two new scarves (I bought three others over the weekend), which I now have to wash but then I think I am pretty much set on the dressy indoor scarf front, yay!

-discovered that there is such thing as a scarf hanger. who knew! now I must acquire one...

-refilled my Celexa prescription

-bought supplies for pot roast (having discovered last night that I was out of cream of mushroom soup and my carrots had gone moldy, ugh); also bought a pepper for veggie sidedish

-harvested one of my own peppers to supplement the store-bought one and cooked a batch of veggie sidedish

-confirmed some details of my parents' fly-by visit on Wednesday (they're dropping off the dog for a few days; we're doing dinner after I get off work)

-wrote to-do lists for Tuesday through Friday

-finished my NY state tax preparer continuing education requirements so I can ask Not the IRS about who is paying (and/or how I will get reimbursed) for renewing my state registration for 2018

-cleaned the slow cooker and started a batch of pot roast, which will be done and ready to refrigerate when I get up in the morning :)

-answered a couple comments; one tiptoed step at a time, I am clearing out my inbox...

So. Not everything I wanted to get done, but all in all I'd say that was a pretty productive day. *dusts hands, heads off to sleep*
