a slow day

I woke up late this morning feeling kind of like I'd been run over by a truck, dragged myself up for a shower and breakfast, and then gave up and went back to bed for a two-hour nap since it was obvious I still wasn't in any state to pull myself together and get stuff done.

After the nap, I felt marginally more human and have been slowly plonking away at my to-do list. I started by swapping the really Big Task over to Friday and pulling one Medium Task a day earlier to replace it, because the Big Task needs to be done in one fell swoop at a certain time of day (and preferably at full mental alertness) whereas the Medium Task could be done online in small chunks whenever. But I did get that Medium Task done, along with one of my other Medium Tasks, a handful of Small Tasks, and some setup for two further Medium Tasks, one of which I intend to complete tonight and the other of which I will get done tomorrow.

It's nice being able to convert dead-loss days into productive days, even if the productivity level is less than I'd initially hoped for. :)

I hope you're feeling better tomorrow. Yay for productive days even if they weren't productive in the way you were originally hoping.
