apartment rentals are serious business
Sep. 13th, 2018 10:55 pmI survived opening day. \o/
We didn't get as many apartments rented as we should have, unfortunately, but I have done my part for the initial processing and now I get to spend a few days mostly twiddling my thumbs and taking people on a handful of tours while I wait for Aunt Boss and Mom Boss to generate leases, email them to new tenants, and help people through the signing process. Because I can't do my part of the leasing process until they get through enough of that stuff to dump a never-ending stack of folders on me, full of documents that need to be scanned, uploaded, entered into databases, emailed to tenants and parents, and ultimately filed. That will be oodles of fun.
But that's next week's problem. For now, I am mostly doing sales and handling even more of the background office stuff than usual so Mom Boss and Aunt Boss can work undistracted.
