Green hair? *boggles*

I rationalize the punk as a style Yugi likes, but doesn't think he can pull off without getting laughed at... so he wears it subtly, under his regular uniform. That would explain why he owns stuff, but is reluctant to wear it openly unless he's dressing more for Yami than for himself.

One thing I particularly like about Yu-Gi-Oh! is that it exists in a world where non-sport games really are massively popular, and organized on the same scale that sports are in our world. That's a social change I could really get behind. :-)
