edenfallingSaturdays are slow days, I said.
Therefore, today I will create the move-out spreadsheet for my mail merge projects, I said.
Today I will get the move-out sheets printed, I said.
Today I will get the key envelope labels printed, I said.
...
Yeah, no. Today I had FOUR GODDAMN TOURS (two with the same family!), ran back and forth between our main office and the Commons Office three separate times, and barely managed to stay on top of my email. I couldn't even catch up on responding to prospect applications, let alone do anything relating to move-outs.
And this is WITH me staying a full hour and fifteen minutes past closing to wrap up a bunch of half-finished tasks I'd started and been interrupted halfway through earlier in the day.
*headdesk*
I mean, on the bright side I rented an apartment in one fell swoop (the reason behind two of those tours) and completed one and a half of the TWENTY GODDAMN LEASES we sent out last week, but even so. ARGH.

Tonight I am going to make myself a Black Russian, and tomorrow I am going to sleep in, take care of my laundry, and do literally nothing else the entire day. Because AUGH, WHAT EVEN.

(Have I mentioned that I got a small raise last week? Because I got a raise last week. I could do with less overwhelm, but it's nice that my work is getting recognized.)
