edenfalling

I started coming down with a cold Thursday night. So far, it hasn't been too terrible -- mildly sore throat, a bit of excess mucus, general lack of energy -- and I am hoping that if I continue getting extra sleep, I can keep it that way. We shall see.

Today I had five apartment showings, which was annoying and also exhausting, but it's resulted in at least one lease so, you know, whatever.

I have also returned to my floor plan project, which I had set aside for a while in favor of photo edits (necessary as a step along the way to video edits). They continue to be annoying, but they also provide a much bigger sense of achievement when I finish one than when I finish a set of photo edits.

Tomorrow I'm scheduled at Not the IRS from noon to 5pm, and I have an appointment from 12-1 and one from 4-5. Presumably I'll find something to fill up the three hours in between.

In theory I should do laundry after work tomorrow afternoon/evening, but in practice... *sigh* Well, I'll try to get some prep done tonight so I'll have a lower inertial barrier to overcome, at the very least.

I've also scheduled a Covid test, both to verify that this is only a cold and in preparation for my Wednesday mammogram.
