So today I tried to get rid of some unwanted books by selling them to a used book store. I was told that they didn't need science fiction at the moment, and my incredibly boring history of rural electrification in America was too specific in its focus. Bugger. I will have to haul the books back to Ithaca where there are larger used book stores. That, or treck out to some place on the outskirts of Morristown that my Dad vaguely remembers from several years ago.

That was more or less the tone for the day. I sorted some old clothes for goodwill or a garage sale, did laundry, repotted a plant, read a little, and generally bummed around. After dinner I mean to balance my checkbooks. I have a feeling this is not actually going to happen.

And nobody is reviewing my story. I feel very unloved.
