Saturday update
Mar. 27th, 2004 07:13 pmAm home again. Philly was great! Hung out with Cat and her two crazy friends (funny... she has two crazy friends back home in Madison too... pattern?), watched a Bryn Mawr all-female production of Much Ado About Nothing (really great!), shopped in weird little ticky-tacky stores off South Street, AND actually finished my taxes, successfully attacked "Sir Ron and the Green Knight" with the Editing Pen of Death, and read My Father Had a Daughter (a cool book spinning off from what little is known about Judith Shakespeare, old Will's younger daughter).
Go me!
It's always great to see Cat. She's really out there in some ways, but she keeps me grounded, won't let me drift off or get too wound up and negative. I can voice all my complaints to her and she just punctures them and waves them off. It's wonderful. Plus I get to mock her. And talk about random shit and deep personal issues. Friends are great. You don't have to put on your good face for them.
Bah. Am now sad about leaving Philly.
Must walk the dog now, then start laundry.
